東京藝術大学音楽学部附属音楽高等学校、同大学ピアノ科を経て同大学院修士課程終了。ロータリー奨学金を受けてブリュッセル王立音楽院に留学し、最高位でプルミエ・プリとディプロム・シューペリュールを取得。さらにパリ・エコール・ノルマルでコンサーティスト・ディプロムを最高位で取得。マリア・カナルス、ポルト両国際コンクールで優勝。ポルト国際コンクールではドビュッシー賞、現代音楽最優秀演奏賞もあわせて受賞した。ロン・ティボー、エリザベート国際コンクールで入賞後、ロンドン国際コンクールで優勝。故ダイアナ妃よりスタインウェイ・グランド・ピアノを授与される。フィルハーモニア管弦楽団、NHK交響楽団など内外のオーケストラと共演、BBC放送出演などヨーロッパ、北米、日本各地で演奏会を行った。第2回出光音楽賞受賞。2000年よりニューヨーク州大学音楽学部で教鞭をとった後、2004年に帰国。2012年3月まで京都市立芸術大学准教授を務める。2012年4月より東京藝術大学准教授。リサイタル、セミナー、コンクールの審査員を行なっている。2006年のリサイタル「フランス音楽の夕」では青山バロックザール賞を受賞した。
After obtaining bachelor and master in music at the Tokyo University of the Arts, she went to Europe to continue her studies with Rotary scholarship. She obtained 1er prix and diplome superieur at Conservatoire Royal de Musique in Brussels, also Diplome superieur de concertist de piano at Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. She has won several international competitions such as the 1st prize of London International piano competition, 1st prize of Maria Canals in Spain, 1st prize of Porto competition with Dubussy prize and Contemporary music prize. In London competition, she was given Steinway piano from princes Diana. She was also finalist of Marguerite Long competition and Queen Elizabeth competition. She has played with many orchestras such as the Philharmonia Orchestra in London, NHK Orchestra in Tokyo and the Lisbon Orchestra in Portugal etc.
In 2004, she came back to Japan. she was an associate professor of Kyoto City University of Arts from 2004-2012. From 2012 April, she became an associate professor of Tokyo University of the Arts. She is doing recitals, seminars, and jury of many competitions in Japan. She won the Aoyama music prize for the French music recital in 2006 in Kyoto.
