Workshops for Comprehensive Musicianship Announced 2017 Programs

ptna_20161216top2.jpg"The Workshops for Comprehensive Musicianship" announced the program for the year 2017-2018. This workshop was launched in 2010, inviting lecturers with diverse backgrounds. This year will also see a variety of lecturers like pianist, composer, conductor, singer, music scholar, journalist, etc. One of the characteristics of the workshop is active-learning style. In the past 7 years, participants experienced conducting, singing, musical analysis, editing scores, etc. In addition, there are some new services available this year. In each lecture, facilitators will ask questions to the lecturers that would enhance learning and understanding. Online participants will be able to join the Q&A sessions through the livestreaming. And after the 3rd and 10th lectures, active participants will be able to join lunch parties.

(6) 10/4 "To Interpret '30 Etudes de Mécanisme' by Czerny - Through the Development Process of Etudes" (Yasushi Ueda / Music Scholar)
(7) 11/22 "To Master the Ensemble Performance" (Akira Wakabayashi, pianist & Rieko Suzuki, violinist)
(8) 12/13 "How Do the Music Nurture Personality? - Rediscover the Meaning of Music" (Eriko Sugano/ Music journalist)
