The Public Recording Concert, aiming at recording, filming, sharing the music on the online library "PTNA Piano Encyclopedia", announces the new season's program and venues.
The number of venues has been steadily increasing across Japan and abroad in the last few years, and a new place will be added this year. The Senri Yamaha Hall, at the top of a skyscraper in Osaka, will host two concerts in May (Rintaro Akamatsu, featuring Fauré to commemorate 90th anniversary of his death) and July (Shinya Okahara & Masaru Okada).
Collaborators are also playing important roles. In March, a recording concert will be held in conjunction with the annual special concert of Japan Arensky Society, featuring Arensky and several pieces of his contemporaries / next generation including Glazunov, Medtner, Taneyev, Lyapunov, Lyadov, etc.
