For teachers enthusiastic in keep learning, PTNA provides a study scheme called "Ing-program" consists of following four categories : teaching, performing, writing, report.

On applying to this program, one can receive one point each time they take part in the designated activities. For instance, when a teacher applies to the "performing" category, s/he has to participate in the PTNA Piano STEP to play on stage. Then s/he gets one point no matter how the result would be.  The award of "continuous learning" will be given to the person who acquires certain amount of points in each category.

On May 15th, an examination will take place at 6 venues across Japan. This is specially designed for the "writing" category. The exam consists of three sections; basic musical knowledge, music history and musical analysis of pieces from the required repertoires of PTNA Piano Competition (A1 to D grade).

This program is expected to shape up well-balanced pedagogical skills as well as to support lifelong learning for piano teachers.
