Among them, Mr.Tomoki Sakata (1st prize at Yasuko Fukuda Scholarship Prize 2009) and Ms.Mizuho Nakada (the grand prize winner 2009) also played Mendelssohn piano trio No.1(1st mov.) & No.2(1st mov.). For the 34th PTNA Piano Competition, a number of study seminars for the required repertoires are being held across Japan. And this year, analyse is especially paid attention. Special analyse edition of each repertoire is selling online (Musse), and besides, monthly seminars for studying musical theory and analyse are scheduled until the end of the year.
Furthermore, the demonstration CD with special sound effects is released. Ms.Chihiro Todoroki and 5 other composers, composed the orchestral accompaniments by electronic sounds, particularly to the music of elementary level (A2*- B grade), to help young students explore their musical imagination. *Regulation renewal in A2
Competition is regarded not only playing piano on the competitive basis, but also the important study opportunity for young talents and their teachers. Thanks to the collaboration with composers and musicologists, the method of piano study becomes wider and profound.
The 34th competition will be held from mid may - August 2010.
