Eduard and Johannes KUTROWATZ (piano)

They received the first prize in Stresa International Competition in Piano Duo division(1986), followed by the Art prize of Burgenland (Austria) and Theodore Kelly Foundation prize, etc. Johannes got prize in International Schubert Competition in Graz, which brought him a scholarship from Bösendorfer.
Eduard and Johannes founded the International Festival "klangfruehling" in Austria and have been served as the artistic directors. Johannes is also serving as the artistic director of Yamanaka-ko International Music Festival "Klangsommer" from 2007. Further, they became the music director of Liszt Festival in Raiding, Austria.
They are both professors in Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien, and visiting professors of Senzoku Gakuen College of Music from 2009.
